Require UKAS Calibration?
Understanding UKAS
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the national authority designated by the UK government to assess and accredit testing and calibration services. UKAS-approved certification guarantees that the accreditation adheres to both national and international standards, ensuring the quality and precision of the tested item.
The Importance of UKAS Certification
In sectors where traceability is paramount, UKAS calibration and certification are indispensable. UKAS certification not only provides a robust assurance of quality but also significantly reduces the risk of issues related to procurement, auditing, and quality control. While our instruments are calibrated by the manufacturer, a UKAS certificate offers an additional, recognized level of quality assurance.
Certification Process
Each item for UKAS certification undergoes an initial inspection by our in-house engineers before being sent to one of our approved independent UKAS test laboratories for thorough testing. This comprehensive process typically takes about 14 days.
